The Pearl Program
The Delta Phi Epsilon PEARL (Personal Enrichment Activities for Responsible Living) Program presents opportunities for both new members and initiated sisters to contribute to their personal development, the sorority, and surrounding communities. Our PEARL program ensures that our sisters strive to engage in activities & experiences in the five core areas of the sorority: Self, Scholarship, Sisterhood, Social, and Service. This program allows sisters to earn PEARLs throughout each academic year to grow as individuals and community members.
Our 5 S's
SISTERHOOD
An essential value of our sorority, sisterhood activities build a strong chapter and supportive environment. Sisterhood PEARLs give oppurtunity to get to know our sisters on a deeper level while making memorable experiences and help us grow a stronger bond a sorority. We strive to always support each other and our sisterhood as a whole
SERVICE
As sisters we value the impact we can make within our communities through service and philanthropy. Community service and giving is dear to our hearts. Not only do we raise funds annually for our three Delta Phi Epsilon philanthropies, but we also proudly participate in many service oppurtinuties each semster! Anywhere from volunterring at animal shelters, writing letters to children in hospitals, veterans and seniors in retiremnt homes, can food drives, and our annual Community Day with the brothers of Tau Kappa Epsilon, service PEARLs are an essential part of our orgainization. We strive to foster caring and contributing sisters and make our community a better place!.
SCHOLARSHIP
Delta Phi Epsilon encourages our sisters to excel in their studies and focus on their passions. The Scholarship PEARLs help sisters develop skills such as time management, helpful study habits & how to utalize important resources throughout college, to succeed in school and in the workplace.
SOCIAL
Delta Phi Epsilon sisters can be found all over campus! We recognizes the importance of essential social and communication skills in the workplace and in life, and as an organization that values Justice, this includes being socially aware. Social PEARLs can be earned by interacting with other Greek and non-Greek organizations on campus, educating ourselves on social justice topics, as well as exploring new experiences to broaden perspective.
SELF
College is a place for new adventures and challenges, and the Delta Phi Epsilon sisterhood encourages and helps to foster growth and development as individuals. Our motto Esse Quam Videri encompasses this idea in its meaning “to be rather than to seem to be”. Self PEARLs support our sisters by promoting physical and mental well-being, a healthy balance between school and personal life as well as overall growth and self-love.
